STOP CAP AND TRADE AND CLIMATE TREATY
This week please call all your senators and house reps. about the cap and trade bill that seems to be heating up again in the congress and the possibility of Pres. Obama signing a Global Climate Treaty that would give up the USA’s sovereignty to a higher UN Constitution. This is SCARY folks! This could mean the end of the constitution as we know it and the signing could be as early as December. This could usher in a New World Government that would then supersede our own laws and documents. Please call all your congressman and ask about this treaty and begin doing your homework. Here is a video about the Climate Treaty in Copenhagen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYZkph2DfSg Here is a BBC report on the Climate Summit in Copenhagen. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8315573.stm
I’ve started reading the Federalist Papers, and would like to leave you all with a quote that moved me about the men who created our country and founding documents. “This convention, composed of men, who possesed the confidence of the people, and many of whom had become highly distinguished by their patriotism, virtue and wisdom, in times which tried the minds and hearts of men, undertook the arduous task. In the mild season of peace, with minds unoccupied by other subjects, they passed many months in cool uninterrupted and daily consultations: and finally, without having been awed by power, or influenced by any passions except love for their Country, they presented and recommended to the people the plan produced by their joint and very unanimous counsels.”
