TEA PARTY EXPRESS STOPS IN LOUISVILLE

CROSS COUNTRY BUS TOUR HEADS TO TAX PAYER’S MARCH ON WASHINGTON

Louisville, KY August 31, 2009 – The Tea Party movement is sweeping the country. Growing controversy over health care reform and cap and trade bills is fueling the public to let their voices be heard. All over the country, people are going out to Tea Party Express stops on their way to 38 cities in two weeks. The Tea Party Express will be traveling to help spread the word and build momentum towards the Tax Payer’s March on Washington on September 12th.

The local group, Louisville Grassroots Tea Party, is hosting the Tea Party Express stop here in Louisville on September 5th. There is going to be several Local, Regional, and National speakers with program beginning at 4:00pm. This rally will also feature two National recording artists, Lloyd Marcus and Rivoli Revue (from Louisville). “We are trying to get people really motivated and pumped up for the March on 9/12” stated Wendy Caswell, President of Louisville Grassroots Tea Party.

The Tea Party Express Rally is scheduled for September 5th at Central Park on 4th street in Old Louisville from 3:30 – 7:30pm. More on the rally and how to join can be found on www.LouisvilleTeaParty.org. National information on the Tea Party movement can be found at www.TeaPartyPatriots.org.

Independence Day Tea Party

June 22nd, 2009 admin No comments

Tired of out of control Government Spending? Tired of Corporate Bailouts?

Declare Independence from tax and spend politicians and the political games ad corruption on Capitol Hill!

The Louisville Grassroots Tea Party will be hosting another event on July 4th, 2009 in Jefferson Square (6th and Jefferson, Downtown Louisville) from 11AM until 2PM. We had nearly 2,000 people show up on April 15th for the Tax Day Tea Party, and the mainstream media ignored and insulted us. We need to show them that we aren’t just a flash in the pan, that we do hold our government responsible and that we are fed up with their reckless and irresponsible spending.
